Kraniomandibulær og Kraniofacial dysfunktion og smerte

Basis kursus 1
-kraniomandibulær dysfunktion og funktionelle relationer

Smertemekanismer vedr. de relevante kraniomandibulære strukture, funktionen af temporomandibulær leddet
og de neurofysiologiske, biomekaniske og funktionelle relationer til cervical columna er primær
indholdet i dette kursus. Den subjektive undersøgelse, den fysiske undersøgelse og behandlingsteknikker
af temporomandibulær leddet, samt en update på den neurobiologiske og anatomiske viden om
temporomandibulær leddets funktion er primær emner.
Den teoretiske præsentation vil indeholde orthodontiske aspekter såsom brugen af bøgleterapi samt
introduktionen af følgende symdromer: Bruxisme, Fixering, Hovedpiner, Neuralgier, Det Otomandibulære
symdrom og Tinnitus.
Kurset er velbalanceret i mellem teori og praksis.

Praktik:
- Palpation af referencepunkter
- Fysisk undersøgelse
- Behandlingsteknikker
- Behandlingsplaner, både generel og specifik til div. syndromer

Craniomandibular Dysfunctions and Functional Relations - Basis 1

Pain mechanisms of the relevant craniomandibular structures, the function of the temporomandibular
joint (TMJ) and the neurophysiological, biomechanic and functional relation to the cervical spine are
the main contents of this course. The subjective examination, physical examination and treatment
techniques of the TMJ and an update on neurobiological and anatomical knowledge of the TMJ function
are primary topics.
A theory presentation will include dentistry aspects like brace therapy and introduce the syndromes:
bruxism, bracing, (cervical) headaches, neuralgias, the otomandibular syndrome and tinnitus. The course
is well balanced regarding theoretical and practical sessions.
